I started back at work last week and the subject of pensions arose. Does anyone have any advice re: pensions in general.

why worry about it being taxed. the state gives you 25% free for having a pension anyway, if you therefore are on lowest tax level when u draw a pension you ar eonly giving them there money back.

You should not be taxed on money that you put into a personal pension. For that reason they are often considered to be a good way of preparing for old age. You will be taxed on the income from your pension when you draw it.
