GordonBennet 02-06-2010, 15:03 Is this another one of those "name your own band" threads? I quite like a local band called Pistola Kicks. I saw them at the beer festival last year and they had some good songs, albeit one or two that were a bit too Franz Ferdinand for my liking. Jenjenz 02-06-2010, 15:07 Ian Britt, Pistola Kicks. There's also some up and coming kid from Doncaster called Parly B that sounds pretty good, too. deelightful3 02-06-2010, 15:11 up and coming band the legion Treatment 02-06-2010, 15:15 I heard about this band called '' That's Never A Real Horse'', apparently they have a bit of a cult following, hope I've turned the spell check on. tenbob 02-06-2010, 15:26 Stainless and they do all their own music Bonzo77 02-06-2010, 15:30 Stainless and they do all their own music All unsigned bands should play their own music!...... slimsid2000 02-06-2010, 15:32 The Pug Uglies - http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d44/Slimsid2000/?action=view¤t=boyband.jpg&newest=1 Front man Zac is the lead singer and 'pin up boy'. Awesome garage rock. shuwarrior51 12-08-2010, 14:51 Hannah Rei (technically form Wakefield i believe but plays in Sheff a lot) is the most incredible female singer i've ever heard. beuatiful to boot too!! Quite likke "Cats for Peru" for a weird indy kinda trip. Absolutely love "The Crookes" and been watching them for a while! they will be big - guaranteed! "Tiananmen" seem to have got their top form back which is good as i loved these then they went a bit naff for a bit... Rest of Sheff scene feels quite tired at the moment - or thinks it's bigger/better than it is! KTHFB 12-08-2010, 15:11 I'll go with Boy on a Dolphin too. Not sure if they're signed, and they're technically Rotherham, but I've always loved The Tivoli. lfphotos 12-08-2010, 16:30 Kartica, 250 calbers, alvarez kings.............in no particular order. the chazter 12-08-2010, 18:08 :headbang:In the name of :headbang: http://www.myspace.com/inthename0f |
