Its always that time of year we hear fireworks everynight, last night there was a wedding afterparty over meersbrook park I just got the lead on the dog just in time or he would have ran off:(

If you do have a problem pet with load bangs there is a plug in device you can get from the vets it works very well..

Every year I re-activate an old wish
I wish they'd BAN the things from public sale once and for all.

I feel in todays society with anti-social behaviour as it is and many people edgy with any loud bangs that fireworks should now be restricted to November 5th (& proceeding/following weekend maybe), New Years Eve and official parties granted permission.

Away from this fireworks should be made illegal to use.

the RSPCA are currently campaigning to try and curb loud fireworks been sold/used outside of public displays.

You can get more info here if you are interested.

We've heard a couple near us, our new pup didn't seem phased, "OOPHED" a bit - that's his way of barking

But my mate has 2 (now elderly) beagles & they need medicating from now till January the 2nd.

They are terrified of fireworks & will mess in the house if the bangs are close by. :(
