Go into the Boundary club or the Batemoor, they all go in there.

I cant see any skill in fishing for carp especially in ponds, its like shooting fish in a barrel.

If you want something that requires skill why not try for some grayling or sewin:)

Sewin are for the chosen, whereas Grayling are easy on the Don and not so easy on the Wye at Bakewell. Trout is where its at for real fishing.. "Fly only" It takes patience and effort other than bleepers and beer.. Sorry missed a few out; Bivvy, bevvy, burgers, barbecue, Beep Beep BEEEEEEEEEEEEP .. run... Shame on you for combining beer with fishing..

I had a 19lb 10oz and a 15lb 2oz a few weeks ago.

Water Leisure park on walls lane across from butlins you turn right and u shud see a chippy and a pub called cheers go straight down to the bottom and u will see a sign sayin water leisure park and the pond is bang outside our caravan so thats good too not too far to go, i had one 22lb 8oz rest was just under 20lb, plus i was in a match with this bloke, only a mess around like but he got 16 and to be fair he'd been fishin for 50 years he says anyway and i was quite shocked to beat him id only been carp fishin for 2 year this is my 4th year of doing it but i like it

I find that the hit from a trout and the fight is much more than playing a 20lbs+ carp that is too fat to do any dynamic moves on you..

Anyone up for a days casting on the Don ? I have 4 spare rods and reels with enough flies to put ykk to shame..

Thats where I had mine on 12m halibut pellet, also a grass carp on popped up dog biscuit.

haha lol well me carp fishing is the one ill stick too, i just wonderd really if any1 would say meet up go for a days fishing or somethin, im 16 but age dont really matter to me, aslong its fun, catch a few, av a laff wateva, but im gettin new gear when im away for 2 weeks so ill b all set up for then, see what i can catch this year
