I see what you mean about toto and styx 'make belive' sounds a little like 'hold the line' by toto at the begining and the vocals are very dennis de-young like.
great stuff though, i'd never heard of them untill i spotted this post :thumbsup:

I've had a look on a few sites and was wondering.... was it re-released on escape records ?
here's a couple of sites with a listing for alliance by alliance but they list it as a 12 track album and on the escape label.
a picture would have helped but they dont show one, or give a track list.

Shame about the truly awful songs cos some of the intro's were superb, very good musicians but totally unstylised run of the mill production lets it down badly. But like they say....

the problem is there is another 2 bands a called ALLIANCE... so it adds to the confusion!
and splodge..... american pop rock is great ;) but if you dont like this type of music then your never gonna like the band.

Yea i wondered about that, i found a site with three copies for sale. one had a picture of the cover and it was an AOR band but looked nowt like them, these were 12 track albums.
i think the one you want is Canadian and the others are American.
