What a sad loss. I wasn't aware he was ill so I was shocked when I heard the news.

:| I'm not much of a film buff, but this has made me sad. Rumblefish is one of the few films that I ever really enjoyed. Hopper, Waits and O'Rourke all in one place, how couldn't you.

Great actor. Rivers Edge, Blue Velvet, True Romance. Able to create characters that dominated films even when they had little screen time.
