Urrrgh!

I think I've become addicted to buying myself small (but well deserved) items on Amazon.

The 'proceed to checkout' button begins a wonderful 3 to 4 day thrill ride waiting for the item to come and then finally opening the lovely brown package.

Is there any help for a wretch like me?

(I've also woken up today to realise that I spent £14 downloading Power Ballads off i-tunes last night).:o

Have you ever chosen 'the gift wrapped' option too? :P

I was in the habit of doing this too until I spent every penny I owned. eBay is a fave for that. I just bid on stuff all the time and buy it now if I'm bored. :loopy:

I found that 'having children' was an excellent treatment for this condition. My several-a-week CD habit has been magically transformed into a one-or-two-a-year job, thanks to the walking money pits my wife and I created a few years back.

I do love them though! :D

yeah this is what me and my housemates do all the time. i swear that our postman is beginning to slowly hate us all as he continually has to bring us litte boxes daily. my joke last time "oh not again" was replied to with a scowl lol. i wonder if the posties now got a payrise after the increased workload they must have to endure after the introduction of ebay and amazon and the like.

I do the same, but with Ebay, I have a £20 limit per "treat"

I am the same with E-Bay.. although I have been really good the last couple of weeks and haven't made any huge purchaces.
I have settled for buying seeds for my garden, all the thrills of the auction and I never spent more than 99p :)
