Q- How do you know its decent ? We could also do you a quote, you should always get a least 3 quotes (in my opinion) And pick which one you belive is the best, which in my experience isn't always the cheapest.

SO very true andy. Think I may have to go down that route eventually... you try to have a conscience and fit a decent boiler and you lose the job on price so I may have to join the ideal club soon (spit)
corgigasman 29-05-2010, 19:19 HEY!!! Steady on, me and Mr. Peacock fitted loads of them Logic plus boilers....well built and designed, great features and not one call back yet...................4 months and counting:D

Totally agree, vaillants are my boiler of choice, though the pro24/28 is an inferior cousin of the Ecotec Plus range (ask Andy 'Complete-Heat'). Every engineer has their preferences and it is good advice to get several quotes and weigh up all the varied opinions before coming to your own.
corgigasman 12-06-2010, 10:22 I agree with you! thank you very much! I want to do something to help you!

Very helpful, your input is much appreciated
I've used a good Sheffield based plumber recently (Oliver Baird - 07867 958487) and he was also recommending Vaillant boilers (we weren't getting a new one fitted, just got chatting to him). He was very reliable and did good work; I would certainly use him again.
