It looked a bit gruesome when I went past, fireman were trying to free some trapped people in a terminally front shunted silver car , and there was wreckage all over the place, and the front of the lorry was somewhat destroyed as well..........dont know any more....the police were very efficient as it was all cleared within 80 minutes......

It's probably not the place to say so, but it doesn't surprise me.

Driving around today in these most awful conditions, the standard of driving leaves a lot to be desired. Up on Hallam it's thick fog and thick drivers, driving without lights on!

The worse the conditions, the worse the standard of driving.

I do ofcause, hope that those involved in the incident you have mentioned are all fine and that the only lasting damage is to the vehicles involved.

I came up the M1 today in the rain - poor visability and spray and people were just blindly flying past my car travelling at 60 mph - no lights, I'm actually surprised no one had any bumps or worse...

maniacs!

I love watching those traffic-police-camera-action TV programmes; they make me look like a good driver.
What gets my goat is the idiots who insist that the police are wasting their time even though we can all see what hopeless birks the drivers are.
