can anyone give me some advice...about 2 week ago my partner dug up what i think is a yukka tree (looks like a mini palm tree) we took it from our back garden and re-planted it on the front garden.the thing is the lower leaves have started to go yellow and it seems a little "wobbly" like its not in the ground properly,i have also noticed that some of the thicker twiggy root is poking out from the soil?? to be honest i dont think we did a great job of re-planting it,as neither of us really has any knowledge on gardening, the tree is around 4ft high and i would be gutted if weve killed it..can anyone give us a bit of advice in what to do next? should we dig it up again and try and get it deeper in the ground and maybe add a bit of compost to the hole??

any help and advice will be much appreciated!!

It's going to die. Don't feel too bad tho, they are notoriously diffiicult to transplant. If it's loose you might want to try planting it a bit deeper and make sure the soil is good or dig in some compost, plant, water well then wait for it to die!
