I've just watched the first season and mid way through the second. It's typically addictive and Hugh Laurie is playing House to perfection, but there's little plot development - I'm not sure whether to bother ploughing through another 5 seasons.
Any fans out there?

i really enjoyed up untill the current season. its still good to watch but i dont feel as drawn to it as i first did. i dont think this is down to the quality of the show, its actors or writing. but i rather feel like you that its more or less the same week in week out. house gets a case, struggles to solve it, and then in the last minute he does. of course they throw a few curve balls in there but escentially its the same.
I think its worth sticking with, the latter series does focus more on House and this troubles though they do keep the one patient problem per episode most weeks.
I watched the last episode of the current series on sky1 last night and they still managed to shock me with something that i didn't expect at all!!!!
