It seems Ronan Keating had a secret phone - a sex phone - his wife found it and hey presto no more happy families.

They've been married 12 years, three children, no money problems - sometimes some of the celebrities just can't get enough 'kicks'

What say you

Each to their own. The question i ask, is marriage really for life these days? with the likes of mobile phones, face book and other sites, is there too much temptation?

I think there is too much temptation - are the fans and the celebrities just in it for sex, the fans so they can brag they've slept with someone famous, and are the celebrities 'making hay while the sun shines' - I shouldn't think the likes of The Who, Status Quo et al get many offers these days - then again Ronnie Wood manages:o:hihi:

its sad thought they were a strong couple, but if you play away what do you expect? she will probably take him back just like cheryl cole did then another year down the line he will have done it again just start the divorce now, always liked ronan but has he has found out the green is not always greener on the other side.

ronan keating sounds like a decent bloke (everyone makes mistakes, and people grow apart).. ashley cole is just a prat.

people cope with death in different ways especially someone you are very close to not a day doesn't go by without me thinking of my father and he died eight years ago this year, however bedhopping is not the answer no excuse.

I don't think men are (generally) designed to be monogamous. Some will because they know they have a good deal out of it and others will sieze on any opportunity to indulge. I have been in one relationship where I knew I would not be interested in anyone else and several where I knew could do better and indeed deserved better.

Well I bet Yvonne Keating wish she'd have known that he wasn't going to be faithful and then she could have gone for someone who she could trust - perhaps scientists will find the 'unfaithful gene' in the future:D

Then again...

Maybe Yvonne Keating may just be wishing that she had 'put out' more in her marriage and been more of a lover than a fish wife and not drove her rich and successful husband into the bed of another woman?

Just a thought :D

Either ways..... Mrs Keating will not be short of a few bob whichever way she jumps while the bloke who earned it (Ronan) will probably end up paying her more as an 'ex' than she ever got as his wife.

'fishwife' where did you get that from? She is too busy bringing up three children oblivious until recently to the fact that he was 'playing away' - I hope she does get her share of whatever he earned she and her children deserve it

It is true that, evolutionarily speaking, a man has the optimum chance of passing on his genes by banging every chick in sight, and impregnating as many as possible. There's no limit to how many women can fall pregnant to the same man at any one time (well .. no practical limit, until you suffer total exhaustion.)

However, that's just one biological urge, and can quite easily be over-ruled by the head. It may explain the propensity of men who cheat on their partners, but it does not excuse them.

but there is a difference in having a friend over a death and then developing feelings to that person.. this had apparently been a long friendship not just like a one off or anything so its hard to judge when knowing very little about the situation.

Well I bet Yvonne Keating wish she'd have known that he wasn't going to be faithful and then she could have gone for someone who she could trust - perhaps scientists will find the 'unfaithful gene' in the future:DI bet she wouldn't have had three children by him if she'd known she was going to get landed with them as a single mother, either.

It's hard enough with one, let alone three. No matter what sort of settlement she gets, money doesn't compensate for the responsibility of three kids or being publically betrayed in that way with a dancer

The 'other woman' has something to answer for as well, he's mainly to blame but if she hadn't colluded with him, he'd not have been able to do it, would he?

You take my sarcasm far too seriously....My point is this........

Women always (naturally) side with the woman scorned and instantly lay into the male 'pig' that cheats on them.

Have you asked yourself... 'Why did he cheat in the first place?'

There are the type of guy that would play around simply because he can (cake and eat it etc)... you know - proper player types and there is the Ronan Keating kind of bloke... very homely, faithful and very into family life who wouldnt normally stray outside of his marriage....

There is a question here of "WHY?" that most 'usual' answers dont even cover.... George best screwed around because he could and because he wanted to.....so why did Ronan?

Not saying that you did, of course, but your OP almost seems like a Freudian slip ... :D

She is not bringing 3 children up alone on a sink estate in northern Belfast on an income of single parent benefits... she is bringing them up in a mansion with nannys, housekeepers and a multi million pound fortune earned by her 'love rat' husband.

I dont doubt this womans heartache but i do sincerely question what would drive such a devoted family man into the arms of another woman..... and no - because he is a lying cheat just wanting his cake to eat is not a reasonable answer in this occasion.... there is more behind this.

No...

I base my assumption on the unusual actions of a man famous for his 'devoted family man' image and my response is to typical feminist harridan squawkings. :D

I personally hope young Ronan gave the dancer the best ride on a pole she ever had :P

I bet he didn't though! He always looks a little bit seedy to me, a bit ropey around the edges - not very sexy. But then I don't like blonds very much.

The first paragraph may refer to Keating when he was such a devoted husband - 'feminine squawkings' is not a rational answer.

Your second paragraph if it were true doesn't seem to flatter either of them

you got that info from? maybe he wants to see his kids rather than his wife.. and why do people seem to think she will be raising them alone. he could get joint or full custody who knows.. most men dont fight for it as its probably best for the kids.

But like people have said why do people always think the wife is the innocent party who had nothing to do with her husband straying... like its been said he was away from his family, best mate just died.. which he took very hard, was very vulnerable and found support and a friend in the dancer. Its not like his wife took time off to be with him in possibly the worst time of his life. (he is also on tour not for himself but to pay for her and his kids.. selfish sob.. oh wait). I have no idea how id react and be like if my best mate or brother died.. its hard to even think about it. Cheating is no excuse but his personal life was pretty messed up before this happened.. so i think alot of people are judging way too harshly on something they know very little about.

anyways enough of this... cant believe im even commenting on a topic about ronan friggin keating.

Another non-story regarding a non-entity which only interests folk who seriously need to get out more.

Keating sounds like a cat choking on its own vomit and his 'band' pretty much sums up how far standards in music have fallen (endless chain of rehashed and reheated, bland cover versions of other people's material).

Its about time you took the advice laid out in your own signature Ruby.... Dont get so worked up about it :D

Look, i couldnt care less about any of the Keating clan... I hate boy bands and find the personal life of these boy band drips extremely dull... at least rockers give you 'proper' scandals (Ozzy etc)

My remarks were not a 'vitriolic attack' as you put it, it was an idea... a hypothesis that there may be more behind Mr Keatings reason for cheating than has been reported by the sensationalist rags that people read and ultimately, believe word for word.
Of course, my hypothesis my be completely inaccurate, even bordering on the realms of fantasy churned out by my own porn addled brain that Freudianly slips out my inner most secret problems... but maybe thats because i am stupid :D

What i do find tedious however, is the instant support the 'poor woman' has from the 'all men are b@574rds' brigade that you sold your soul to years ago, without considering the remote possibility that this man betrayed his wife for a reason other than what has run through your Misandric minds.

Now concentrate more on the subject matter and less on the personal insults........

and for pitys sake.... develop a sense of humor :P

Wrong Ruby....

Your adaptation of my post just proved what a first class clown you are, completely incapable of sticking to the subject matter in favor of low grade insults and petty name calling. A typical response from you as i recall from previous fora.

If i want to play stupid name calling games, i can go and argue with my 6 year old daughters friends.... i however expect better from a 60 odd year old 'educated' woman.

Now, i have nothing further to discuss with you unless you fancy adding to the subject matter.
