I went to see a great little play at the Crucible Studio last night, and there was a talk back session after lead by one of the Crucible staff, who told us that the play was part of the 'Forge' festival at the crucible. I told her after that I had not heard of the Forge festival, and not seen it advertised anywhere. I cant help feeling that the Crucible should be promoting itself better after such an expensive relaunch. Has anyone else seen signs/ posters for this event? there werent many people there last night.
I've seen some small flyers around, but you're right, it has been very undersold. There are also free short plays everyday at 1pm in the Crucible bar, if people are interested?

you would have thought with the size and success of the crucible that they would have over loaded us with information, but i have neither seen or heard anything about it
All the crucible events including FORGE are available on their website (http://www.sheffieldtheatres.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseaction=whatson.othervenues)
But - I do agree with you that it's not a great promotion - especially for people without internet access.
I think the Town Hall should have large 'bulletin board' in Fargate and on the Moor with a poster of what's on in the next month. There's a full day of 'Chance to Dance' coming up in June throughout the town centre, but I haven't seen that advertised either.
