Can anyone recommend any supply agencies for teachers in Sheffield? I'm already signed up with Supply Desk, Hays and P&K - can anyone tell me if they've had good/bad experiences with any particular agencies?
Thanks!

I signed up with teaching personnel - they were fab. A chap called Dan managed me and I had a full time permanent job in 3 weeks! Am still at the school now but they ring me periodically to ask if I'm ok and still settled. I was very pleased and would recommend them 100%

Good Luck!

Cool, thanks - I actually just registered online with them this morning, so it's good to know they're recommended!

What kind of teacher are you?

There's an organisation called A4e who have an Education division and offer Teacher Supply services.

I work with them in a different capacity but can tell you they're an excellent company to deal with.

Take a look on their website

www.a4e.co.uk

... and click on childcare & education services

I am on the books of Supply Desk too - have had a couple of long term jobs through them at schools in Sheffield and Rotherham and loads of short term work.

I would recommend them, they are a great set of people, really friendly.

If you are wanting to sign up with them there number is 0114 2011400

Hope this helps

I signed up with all the usual teaching agencies and found the only agency that got me local, consistent work was Neat Education. They offer a personal service and pay well.

They are based on Ecclesall road and have found me work all over south yorkshire.

I highly recommend them.
