We have just had a bid accepted on a house and we are wanting a full structural building survey done on it. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Hi.... I've always used Flint-Ross who are based on Huntingtower road in S11. Independent so not working directly for any estate agents.

Good price too if i remember. They give you a really detailed written survey.

We used an independant surveyer. He's based in Dronfield but we have had him do houses in Sheffield including MIL's purchase in Ecclesfield, so he's happy to travel. Was very good, as he came to do a survey on a house we were selling for the purchasers and found things out that we should have had on our survey, which was done by the mortgage company's surveyor. I kept his name and number and have used him for our purchases since then.
