My friend in Australia left one of her backpacks with me while she went touring europe. Now she wants me to post it back to
her with all the stuff inside. I had no problem with this when she asked me, now I I'm unsure about how to post it.

Should I put it in a box? Wrap it up in thick paper? They also ask you what it is you are sending - should I say its a gift so she doesn't have to pay any taxes? Since its hers already she shouldn't have to pay anything, right? I've got a feeling its gonna be expensive.

i would say put it in a box otherwise they are going to treat it as a post piece of luggage somewhere!!! and definatly say its a gift!!!

And don't wind the travel clock up before you send it!
They get nervous around ticking backpacks these days! :hihi:


Seriously, it may well be cheaper by breaking it down into as many <2kg parcels as possible as the postal rate over that weight is astronmical!
