OMG - I can't wait for tomorrow nights conclusion!!

For anyone who didn't watch it - it's a ITV Drama Premiere starring Stephen Tomkinson....story summary....

Chris Bishop's contented family life is torn apart when he bumps into Marian, his former girlfriend, who disappeared - presumed dead - fifteen years ago. However, the woman denies any knowledge of Chris. His obsessive quest to discover where Marian has been and what happened to her, leads Chris and his family into danger. Marian, Again is a tense, dark psychological thriller about the horrors that could lie within any community and just beyond anyone's front door ...

Scary..I am sure it said at the beginning that it was based on a true story too....:suspect:

Can someone check a recording and let me know??

Can't imagine how a victim would feel having to go through this experience...seriously 'my worst nightmare'...
:o :gag:

Just found out this is 'said' to be based on a true story...the girl in question was actually held in a box like this in Belgium. I don't think her ordeal lasted as long as portrayed in the drama though!!

This dark psychological thriller was filmed over four weeks in May at a house in Sydney Street, Douglas, and in Ballaugh on the Isle of Man.

This is quite a smart thriller from writers Ben Court and Caroline Ip (said to be based on a true story), with good direction from David Drury. It effectively plays on one of our basest fears and there are moments of real shock, though the pacing is slow in parts. But it's something a bit different, and for that reason alone Marian, Again should be welcomed.

I thought the acting was appauling. Marian was good, but my god that opening scene round the table made me want to vomit.

The eldest especially IMO...:hihi: when she 'squealed' and flushed her phone down the loo!!

The thought of being locked up in a box and fed custard through a pipe by this psycho killer just makes my blood run cold!

The way this man actually 'befriends' his daughter via gifts and text messages just goes to show 'HOW' easy it is for our children to be 'groomed' by these freaks!!

The concept just scares me sooo much!!
