I was driving around the Waitrose / Eccie road roundabout yesterday and noticed that the plot of land outside the DWP building is up for sale.

BUT it was already bought up and there were plans for the CALA ECLIPSE luxury apartment development. I even viewed plans with a view to buying early. Thankfully, I didn't buy....but did any other forumers put their money into it?

Seems to have gone by the wayside....too much faith in the 'city living boom' anyone?

I think they realised the profit margins were too small and pulled out, quietly returning deposits to those who had invested off plan. Or something like that...

Blundells should know whats happening, phone them up and pretend you want to invest.

It's definately cancelled. Buyers have had their deposits returned.

If that was cancelled I wonder if the tower next to the sub-station will get of the ground ?

I understand that's on hold at the moment.
