A wild boar was discovered in a supermarket fridge in Gloucester. The boar charged at a member of staff and then proceeded to make it's way towards nearby woodlands and is still on the run.
The boar had been in line for slaughter before managing to escape from a local stud farm. :D :D

Did it steal anything? Or didn't they have a chance to find out? Perhaps he's sitting under a tree drinking his stolen whisky as I type... :P
It must have been feeling peckish and followed the scent of grub. :D

searching for enlightenment?
I'm not sure about enlightenment, but it's probably dawning on him that he's now going to need a job, new identity etc. He's just starting to discover that escaping is the easy part... :o
I read a similar story last year that a `pig` not a `boar` escaped from jaws of slaughter last year.
Those relevant thought that the squealer had so much spirit to live that they released it to a good home and now it lives like a `pig in a good home`
It`s all true!
