I would love to get a phormium, not the small grassy ones but
the type which seem to grow to enormous sizes around here ( there's one in Mosborough whose flowere stalks must be over 15' high) does anyone know which varieties grow really big, and are also hardy? And also where I can get one from?

we got an enormous one from Wentworth garden centre ... not cheap tho - they are around £70. If they don't have what you are after on display I'm sure if you were to ask they'll take you round the back to the greenhouses - they had loads when we went looking (October-ish)
