We are a Saturday league team who play in the south yorkshire amateur premier league, and are already looking towards next season to continue our ever improving club.

We reached the league cup final last season and are in the semi final now.

Hi Mark,

We (Woodseats B) play in the Sheffield and District Fair Play League. The league is of a good standard (the division above is on par with County Senior Div 1) We're a newly created side this season with a good/friendly bunch of lads, which has gone promising, still with 6 games remaining, but are looking to push on next season with additions to the squad.

We play on Saturday mornings at 10:30am (meaning you get the rest of the weekend to recover! :)). We also train at Goodwin at 9pm on Wednesdays.

Its 15 pound registration fee, then 5 pound subs each Sunday or 3 pounds if you play as sub.
Have a nip down next Monday weve got another knockabout arranged for then, have a look on the Sheffield footy section fella.:)

hi im 19 years old im 6ft 2inch and im a centre forward but can play any position i prefer midfield or striker because i love to take people on and score goals. i would say my fitness needs some work but i am willing to put in the work to achieve the best result. my prefered number is 7. i would say my weakness to work on is penaltys and something i work on alot is free-kicks.

my dream is by the time im 25 to be a proffessional at leauge 2 or 1 level i hope at a club like gillingham, rotherham or chesterfield and one day play for wednesday and lift the FA cup once in my life.

i would compare my self to leon clarke or agbonlahor because i am a quick player who wants the ball i mite not score as much as i shud but i never let it get me down. i wanna be the best

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you're 19 and haven't been picked up yet, you have very little chance of playing professional football.

My advice would be to find yourself a team of good lads (whatever level) and just enjoy the game

We are average standard, have you played sunday league previously?

£5 a week to play football and £15 to register is a bit much isnt it? why not just get some sponsors from somewhere that pay for the pitch and a kit!!

After a sponsor, this is being worked on. This is to make the team self-sufficient. Not good to always rely on others although a sponsor would help with costs. Plus, we have deadlines to work too which seem to creep up on you at times! The cost to set up can be quite high!

If you also take into account matchday costs such as referee fees and kit washing, it doesnt really leave much. Then trying to build for next season and money to buy replacement items when needed, such as balls as they wear or get lost, flags if they break and so on.

I started a team last season with help from this forum and after a successful season we are now looking to progress.

My team are now looking for players who have played 11-a-side football previously or have played at a good standard. We are looking to develop in all positions and now have sponsorship assistance for kits, pitches and equipment.

We are called Woodseats B, we play in the fair play league. The league standard has increased massively over the last few seasons and I would put the league as the same as most Sunday divisions. Many of our team play Sundays and Saturday afternoon's so it gives an idea of the standard we are at.

We train on a Wednesday at the Goodwin in town, pre-season will be switched to the Helipad at Shirecliffe.

We currently play at Loxley on a Saturday. The team name was a legacy thing. :roll:

We (Woodseats B) play in the Sheffield and District Fair Play League. The league is of a good standard (the division above is on par with County Senior Div 1) We're a newly created side this season with a good/friendly bunch of lads, which has gone promising, still with 6 games remaining, but are looking to push on next season with additions to the squad.

We play on Saturday mornings at 10:30am (meaning you get the rest of the weekend to recover! :)). We also train at Goodwin at 9pm on Wednesdays.

New Bohemians are restarting training on 22nd June, with our 1st friendly on 10th July, with a friendly each week after, so lots of football and chance for new players to shine.

We are starting training at Endcliffe park, 7.30pm, and will then be moving upto Boundary Park Social club for training and matches.

Were an eleven a side team in mid season break. We've just finished our first season in the Sheffield and District Fair Play league div 2 (good standard league - the league above us is equivalent to County Senior Div 1) and are looking to add one or two new players to the squad. We've managed to acquire a brand new pitch for next season and judging by the pitches we played on last year it will be one of the best in the league.

Were still having training sessions on Saturday mornings to keep fitness up at Goodwin, do a few drills and end with short game (then more than likely a pint or two down a chosen local). As said in earlier thread I was looking for a new team on saturdays and i have got some trials now but i am also looking for a new team on sundays as well. Anyone looking to give a 21yr old GK a trial i played in Blades Superdraw Prem last season with team that finished 3rd. I conceded more than i should have but this was down to a few injuries i got after xmas. As doing ligaments in your hand and a back injury does not help playing in the net. I am working on my fitness and i am free of injuries so anyone willing to give me a chance please get in contact. Any league better or same standard as Blades Superdraw Prem is preferred.

We are Dronfield Town FC, after 2 successive promotions in to Division 2 of the Chesterfield Sunday League and continuing having 18-20 players available per week we have decided to start a reserve team who will be entering into Division 6 of the Chesterfield League.

Dronfield Town are an established Football club with over 30 teams from Under 7’s to Over 35’s and Ladies Teams. Home games are played in Dronfield and away games are across Killamarsh and Chesterfield.

We are playing in the County Senior League Div 2 next season. We are traditionally a Sunday side that has 2 teams playing in the Chesterfield League (Div 2 and Div 4).

We have an over 35's team in the Wragg League and we have entered our Saturday side in the County Senior League.

We are looking for players, predominantly for the County Senior League team. preferably with County Senior League experiance. Players form all over welcome. We play our home games at Clowne so players from Killamarsh, Eckington, Aston and surrounding villages would be ideal.

Im 20 years old and looking for a squad to train with/play for ideally around Dronfield/South-Sheffield/Central-Sheffield area (willing to travel further).

Currently playing for Bournemouth University squad but looking for a Sheffield based squad to play for when at home.

Played for swfc academy from age of 12 - 18 then got bombed and since just been tossing it off playing sunday league, could easily play semi pro if i got myself fit again and stayed injury free

Hillsborough Hotel FC in the 1st Divison of the Imperial League could do with a few more defenders. We play at a good standard and currently through pre season are unbeaten having played teams from the County Senior, Imperial and Wraggs Over 35 League.
