I'm not a football fan, though I was conned into going to a game at west brom. they were playing man utd. I remember queuing up on the motorway to get into the game, and the start was delayed. Being late we were pushed into the west brom end despite my mates man utd shirts. 3 - 3 about 5 min before time so we beat a retreat and as we went through the tunnel a roar went up from the visitors end - man utd had scored. 3 -4 to united. George Best was playing for Utd. any idea what year that was, somewhere near 1966?

PS I must be honest, I didn't actually know the answer ... I googled it! :)

I was trying to work out how old I was and guest about 1966. It frightened the life out of me. We had our own police escort all through the match and the remarks that came down to us couldn't be printed here. I haven't been to a football match since. I was 15 at the time. I will say this though the skill of the players is unbelievable - Something you just can't see watching it on telly. George Best was great.
