http://www.livejournal.com/users/interdictor/
The above is a weblog of a New Orleans resident who's stayed throughout all the chaos in the building he works in with some others and is basically reporting what he sees, as it happens.
If you go back a few pages and read the entries leading up to the storm it makes some interesting reading, if a little scary!
Just thought some people might like to read it...

Anyone watching this now, there seems to be convoys of fuel lorries and offical vehicles going along with their flashing lights on, so at least it looks like some aid is getting through.

I keep checking the blog and webcam, yesterday I saw a convoy of huge coaches. Today he seems to have it in the office I dont look at webcams very much but this is one of the better ones with a constant feed, just like watching the tele it's not jerky at all

It's nice to see that things are at least picking up a little - but you can see how dirty the flood water is in some of the pics...

I have been checking regularly too and think that they have been through a life-changing time.
Just to quote Michael though:
"I want to make sure that everyone knows I am part of a team. I am not in this myself. I seem to be getting most of the attention for the success we've had here, but I don't think that's really fair to the other guys. I think because I'm the one keeping the blog people are getting the wrong impression."
I'm sure he will go far!
