Ousetunes 03-09-2005, 14:10 Michael usually 'struts his stuff' at The Sheffield, formerly The Shiny Sheff, Lodge Moor, every Thursday evening performing at the karaoke. Whatever your opinions on his act, he is the only person who goes up and always manages to leave the audience in tears (tears of laughter admittedly, though one can sense a general reaction of 'Is he for real' in the audience). Having spoken to Mike on numerous occasions, I think it's safe to say that he's oblivious to what is, in reality a total lack of talent and to the fact that he's making a complete and utter plonker of himself. But isn't that what karaoke is all about anyway? He brightens the place up with his John Travolta wig, clip-on microphone, dance routines, and his personal style of singing songs like 'Thandy' and 'Gweethed Lightnin'.
