View Full Version : Looking through windows as you walk?
DragonofAna 03-09-2005, 08:34 Walking along a street - any street - do you find yourself looking through windows into peoples front rooms? You know - those who do not have nets or blinds or curtains that are closed.
Does it annoy you when people do this? Or are you one of those people who does not mind? If it bothers you then why not do something about it?
Be honest. I'm not talking about stopping and having a good look, or being a peeping tom - just a look through the window as you pass.

Hehe. Really Don? Can't imagine why. :o
I try not to look in as it can be annoying and everyone does it to me as the bus stops right outside where we live. And if we have the light on the whole bus gawps at me.
Don_Kiddick 03-09-2005, 09:11 Oh that's YOU is it? :wow:

Don_Kiddick 03-09-2005, 10:01 A mate of mine used to get up & pull a moonie when people stared in their window.
He may still do, I've not seen him for a few years... :hihi:

Maybe they wouldn't if you put some clothes on, love.

What are you doing to attract so much attention?
What annoys me is that people think it's bad to stare in at someone ... but then it's ok to stare out at someone.

Surely not everything ? That's what the boxer shorts and nighties are for, - to save your blushes :P
muddycoffee 03-09-2005, 19:04 When I first got my house,
for the first few years I had a net curtain on my front window, but after a period of this I decided that I had had enough of it. And now it is much more fun, nodding hello to my neighbours as they go past. When a stranger looks in and I look at them, they almost always look away embarrased.
When I'm walking by myself at night, It amazes me how many abanded front lounges there are with TV on with nobody watching. If people stopped doing this or listened to the radio instead, then we could probably make do with one less powerstation on full all evening. I've a good mind to bash the front window and shout "turn your television off if you are not watching it you wasteful moron"
Ever thought that the owners of said telly are on the loo, making a cuppa, bringin in the washin?
Also, I think it takes more power to switch on a telly than it does to run one for an hour or two. .
So, considering the above, would you still say we're "wasteful morons?!"
BrainThrust 03-09-2005, 19:55 People on my street think I stare into their houses.
I'm really just vain and checking out my reflection in every window as i walk past.
Damn, i'm smooth.
