If you need parking Im guessing you have a car.

In that case I would probably live elsewhere and drive to work.

i'm moving from Cardiff, I'm curious, why would you advise living in an area away from the hospital?

Is there anywhere close to the hospital you would reccomend?

My reason for looking for somewhere close to the hospital was so I could walk or cycle to work, I'm told that parking at the hospital is a bit of a nightmare.

Someone may be able to correct me on this, but I understand that there is a good bus service which links the Northern General and Hallamshire Hospitals for staff, and is very frequent. If so, maybe you would consider living somewhere like Broomhill and walking to the bus stop at the hospital.
