I've been on the pill since having my daughter. I had a couple of irregular periods and then they completely stopped and i havent had one since november.
To cut a long story short for the past two nights i havent had one as i've ran out and need to try get an appointment. This morning i started with period pains and spotting and now i am getting bad stomach cramps and i feel sick and i've got a bit of a temperature.
I've been told this could just be withdrawel from the pill??? Anyone any ideas???

I know when I've had breaks from my pill that my periods have been a bit erratic. I've never had a baby but I'd say it's nothing to worry about! I can go for months without a period when I'm taking my pill-so that's nothing to worry about either :)
I feel your pain re not being able to get an appointment for weeks on end with your doctor-I've started going to get more pills from the family planning in town-if you go first thing you don't even have to wait very long! Beats spending hours on the phone trying to get through only to find day after day after day that there's no appointments left

A fever suggests a possible infection. You should see a doctor, tomorrow. It may be a coincidental tummy bug/cold, but better safe than sorry.
If you're still in pain with a temperature tomorrow, and can't get an appointment, perhaps try the walk in.

Well my partner has now come down with it and sorry to be graphic but we spent most of last night taking it in turns in the toilet and being sick. Woke up this morning to feel very achey and dehydrated but a bit better, think we might have got food poisoning as my daughter is completely fine and chirpy.
Temperatures gone down and the cramps of gone, still feeling queasy ... either way last night was definately NOT a good night.
thank you for your replies

Tia hun that was my exact symptoms, my nan has been sick for the past 3 days, me my nan and Roo all had the same thing but I wasn't sick but my nan was. We felt so achey and unwell and cannot move without being in pain, if I lifted my head or got out of bed to go to the toilet I had to hold my head as I was in so much pain. I have not been able to eat either since Friday properly. I feel your pain and hope you feel better soon chick x

Make sure you keep yourselves well hydrated. Take plenty of clear fluids in, to replenish the fluids you lost being ill.
