We've just bought a House at Deepcar and l was wondering if any of you could tell me what the Area is like: Playgroups, Schools, Parks etc as l have a small child.

Welcome to the area.
Lived in Deepcar / Stocksbridge - for 40 years - all my life.
The Nursery I used was "Happy Hands" McIntrye Road - near High School - from Sept this year they are starting all day sessions - inc. lunch club - both mine attended then went on to go to St, Anns School. Will get you a contact number if interested.
