Hi !
I'm a french guy and I just arrived in Sheffield. I'm here for 5 weeks and one thing I want to do here is to see english football match. I live around wednesday stadium, so I want to know what to do if I want to see a match ?
Is it difficult to find ticket or can we buy one the day of the match ?
thaks for your help :)

you will be ok paying on the day at both clubs but if you want to save a couple of pounds buy your ticket in advance as most local clubs charge extra on the day of the match
.
hope that helps:)

It's worth checking before hand whether the match is "all ticket" or not :)

All ticket means you have to get a ticket from the box office.

If not, you can just hand your cash over at the turnstyles in return for a ticket.

Not always. Only a select number of clubs add money on for buying on the day (Burnley being one that springs to mind). As far as I'm aware, prices at United are the same whether you buy in advance or on the day. I don't usually take any notice though, season ticket holder :) Ticket prices at United will depend on what "category" the match is. Category A matches are more expensive than category C.

I can't speak for Wednesday's prices though.

ok, thanks for your replies :)
well finally, I went to Wednesday stadium (because I live near this place) and bought a ticket for Wednesday-Leeds... It will be my first experience of english football in live (I'm a supporter of Paris Saint-Germain fc).
