Am looking to change gym - I'm currently going to Livingwell, however I'm thinking of moving to Sam Jones as it's closer to home (I may go more often!!).

Does anyone have an opinion on Sam Jones or any other suggestions.

hi i work at a gym in Dronfield, what area do you live in? is it near Dronfield? our gym is very good value for money, we charge £80 for 6 months so it works out to be £13.30 per month. we have a large range of cardio vascular equipment, 12 different stations of resistance eqipment, a fully equiped free weights romm, a studio with abb curlers, punch bag, floor mats, step boxs, etc and a dry heat sauna all inclusive of this price. feel free to come down and have a look, we are based on callywhite Lane in Dronfield.

Difficult to say if you'll like Sam Jones - you're unique - but having re-joined it twice over the years (un-joining as I think it, like all other similar gym chains, is over-priced) I'd strongly recommend you get them to offer you a 10 day trial. They love giving away free trial memberships so no grovelling required. I'd also recommend that if you join you negotiate a reduction in membership fee for not needing on of the technogym computer key thingies that records your performance data, unless you're impressed by that sort of toy, just as you don't need to pay £30 or so for a Sam Jones waterbottle and towel .
