Micheal Stread, who he? He was and forever will be Mr Bronson from Grange Hill. Forget 'Just Say No' and Gonge Garnder, Rolly, Faye and all the rest, Mr Bronson sent shivers down my spine and I left school in 1959

Six of the best to you now sir

And farewell Hal Kalin, one half of the Kalin Twins. Hit makers in 1958 with a song called 'When' also done by Showaddywaddy, is that how you spell it? they were crap anyway. except for the Drummer's son who played football for Luton Town.

The Kalins were one of those elite one hit wonders that had a No 1 hit, never to make UK hit parade again.

Cliff chose them to accompany him on his mid 80s tour. Maybe you saw them.

Maybe I should leave it there

I fear there may be a chair in the departure lounge for Fats Domino, who has not been heard of recently.
His home was New Orleans.

Hopman, so I read. I fear for many in the flooded area of The Windy City, but to loose Fats this way would be a shame. Or 'Aint That a Shame'
