They've made a good start, at the start of the season I read a few things about them, some people said they would do well and I thought the same too with george burley being their manager. Who in my opinion is one of the most underrated managers in the UK, I don't know much about betting but I'm thinking about having maybe £5 or £10 on them to win the league. At blue square they are 11/2 do you think there worth having a bet on as said I don't know much about how betting works, so could someone tell me how much i'd get back if I put £5 on them. I worked it out at £27.50 but not to sure about that.

lol. Hearts have no chance. In fact if you want to bet, you can place the bet with me and I will give you £100 if they win the Scottish prem.

I guarantee you it will be Rangers or Celtic at the top come the end of the season.

And i'll second that, but without the 'either' bit.

It will be the Gers.

I do hope in the years to come they do start to challenge though. I can only see them finishing 3rd this year, unless Celtic completely implode and they finish 2nd.

(And yes, I know Rangers are behind both of them at the moment - Its a temporary thing! ;) )

Yeah, not quite good enough to go a whole season yet, but with a decent enough manager now installed, and some kind of development of their ground they could start to challenge. I read the directors would have a move away from tynecastle as their last option though.

I think that they ahve a genuine chance this season. Rangers and Celtic are weaker an they have been for a while and Hearts are stronger and have money behind them

You would win £27.50 plus your stake, hence you would get £32.50 back.

However, although Hearts have bought well and have a very good manager, difficult to see them lasting the pace. Their odds are now shorter than 11/2, so to me it is not good value.

Celtic for me.
