Hi guys i am needing some advice, my best friend and her partner are currently living in london but she is staying with her mom as she has nowhere else to live and neither does her partner. But she is wanting to move to sheffield asap and is wanting to know how she would go about it. and could she get on the sheffield council hosuing list.

get on the council waiting list wait around 15-18 years then maybe a bombsite of a house on manor may come up failing that go get a mortgage or rent

Maybe if you have children and don't have a job may get you a council house a bit faster. Better still female with kids from a war torn country, that may get you priority.

There are websites advertising private rental properties, I suggest they use one of these to find somewhere to live.
