Hello,

Does anyone know where I can purchase Horticultural Sharp/Silver sand. I used to be able to buy from Wilkinson in town but they don't seem to carry it for the past two years. Same goes for mini gravels. It's going to be used mainly for drainage.

Any idea what kind of affect it will have on my plants if I were to repot my plants this week? Mainly phlox (needs to be divided) and lilies. I don't mind if it affect their flowering this year but how about next year?

Why not try your local allotment society for both types of sand and grit. There are shops at Meersbrook, Stubbin, Morley Street & Hagg Lane etc
