SHEFFIELD UNION BEER FESTIVAL - OPEN ALL WEEKEND!
Open to all over 18s. Non-students welcome. Free entry!
So far, we have ordered...
81 different cask ales, totalling 6,768 pints
19 different ciders, totalling 2,694 pints
3 types of fruit beer, totalling 1,350 pints
which means we have a staggering 103 different drinks, totalling 10,812 pints! This represents a 10% increase on last year.

There are lots of silly names of the ales too, including Skull Splitter (8.5%), Village Idiot (4.1%), Weapons of Mass Destruction (5.7%) and Hip Hop Green Bullet (4.3%)
Plus we welcome the return of last year's most popular ale, Brew Dog Paradox (10%). Make sure you come down on the Thursday to try this, as it's a rare beer, which won't last long.
This year we also have 14 different beers from Scotland.

We're running a Beer Festival Ceilidh on the Friday night in the Foundry, so you can continue the Friday night festivities! More details coming soon on that.
Plus there's live funk & soul music in the gardens on Saturday afternoon from the 8 piece live band Highway Child...

And at midday on Sunday, Sheffield's best & most famous pork butchers Roney's (Sharrowvale Rd) are providing a Hog Roast, to complement the extra cider released: it's Pork & Cider Day on Sunday!

Sheffield Union's massive Bank Holiday Beer Festival returns on the May Day Bank Holiday Weekend 2010!
Starts 5pm on Thursday 29th April - a day earlier than usual - and ends on the evening of Saturday 1st May!
Plus there's a whole extra day on the Sunday this year dedicated to Cider! Plus a lunchtime Hog Roast! A great way to use up your extra tokens from the Beer Festival.
