seanyboy 01-09-2005, 19:03 I'm liking what I hear so far Rogue State, praise!
I like the site design too, a little bare but looks real professional.
I wanna hear some more - you workin on tracks at the minute?
carcrash 01-09-2005, 21:32 I cannot get any music to play.
spyro2000 01-09-2005, 21:39 Not bad, not bad at all.
That track featuring Daddy Freddy is pretty good. Got a UK Grime feel to it.
it will play with IE but not on Firefox for me.
Having said that and my honest opinion....
I don't think it is very good or original.
just my opinion.

I agree with the Original bit, doesnt sound original at all, and I can think of a song that at least 3 of them have copied, but I still think its pretty decent none-the-less albeit blatant copies.
rogue state 04-09-2005, 17:37 thanks for the feedback. All the tracks are original compositions, out of intrest, which acts do you reckon we're copying?

Im at work now, but Ill have a listen again when I@ get back home. I cant remember off the top of my head what the tracks sounded like.
House of Pain
Too Unlimted.
indeed 2 of the songs seems to be direct rip off of Jump Around and No limits arrangements
the first one resembles a mishmash of many old school tunes.
the last one is better.
it kind of seems that you are half set in doing some sort of Urban Dub Foundation type thing without the aggresion or bite.
then again, I'm hardly an expert in the genre
rogue state 05-09-2005, 15:03 your right about the kriss kross and no limit skanks on the intros to bouncy business and dance to this, but they were just ment to be cheeky little intro's for comic value.
spyro2000 05-09-2005, 15:33 I totally forgot about this thread, but robbie hit it on the head what I was thinking anyway.
And yes the last 1 Noughty Noughts is by far the best and most original track on the site.
I personally (and I know jack sh** about hip hope0 think that you need a harder edge.
