Do you prefer BBC Radio Sheffield or Hallam FM?

Classic FM only, the missus listens to R2 when I'm not around.

Used to listen to Hallam in the days it was good, but then Martin Kelner left & Roger Moffat died.

It went downhill after that.

Used to listen to Hallam, but I'm no longer a teenager so I listen to Sheffield a lot more these days. Or I listen to Real Radio if I want to listen to newer music.

Dad ususally has LBC on in the car - Radio 4 aimed at Londoners! (http://www.lbc973.co.uk)

I will alternate between my iPod on the bus, and Radio 4 - quite topical (http://www.bbc.com/radio4) on the PC at home (I don't have an FM tuner separate), orVirgin 105.8 (http://www.virginradio.com)

Hallam FM really is the worst radio station I've ever heard.

Aside from only having about 4 records, the DJ's (particularly Big John and that clown that's on in the afternoon) have their heads so far up their own backsides I'm amazed they can hear a song finish!

Forget the scenery - the best thing about living in the Hope Valley is not being able to pick up Hallam FM!!

I prefer Hallam Fm myself. The songs are a lot better and the hosts are too! But that's just my opinion!

I find they rabbit on about total b**ocks too much on Galaxy and Hallam, I don't care what the DJ did last night or what he had for breakfast, just play a bloody record. And the adverts are incredibly naff and anoying.

I tend to listen to Radio 2 most.

I listen to Hallam FM...

Best Slots are Big John's Breakfast / Matt Mackay's Top Ten @ 10 / then Nick @ Night...

Going off Matt & Emma's Big Drive Home... not as good as they used to be... they seem to come across at being rude to their listeners & callers...

Matt always seems to be in the dog house with his Girlfriend can never do anything right! whilst Emma tries to give him advice or yacks on about what she's been up to the night before... or they just flirt and chat amongst themselves... What kinda entertainments that!? Borrrrr ring!!! *yawn*

someone forgot to add a "nether" option. Both stations play the same cycle of trash music. They also like to tell you a single is number 1 when its not even out yet. The charts are a total farce.

Internet radio is alot better :)

Don't think Radio Sheffield have ever done a chart, said something is number one or played any music currently in the Top 40 (with the possible excpetion of Charlotte Church or James Blunt). So that doesn't really seem to apply to them!
