WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE UN SURE ABOUT SOMETHING
FOR EXAMPLE; I USUALLY FLICK A COIN - HEEADS YES AND TAILS NO
JUST CURIOUS WHAT OTHER PEOPLE DO??
If it's deciding between two pairs of trainers/jeans/t-shirts, I just buy both.
If it's an important decision I ask the other half then do the opposite :)
It would help if you could be a little more specific without going in to the detail because it really does depend upon the situations you have in mind.
As a general rule of thumb I allow as long as I possibly can before doing anything at all that involves a major decision so that I can allow time for all of the issues, concerns and possibly gripes to surface.
I do not take actions when I feel stress because past experience has shown me that the outcome of such decisions are always to my detriment. This is especially important if it involves complex situations because there are so many variables to consider.
Sometimes I'll ask friends and take account of their views but then I'd really want to be quite sure that I could trust their judgment because I dont have spare time to ask frivolous things and get frivolous stuff back.
Thinking about it, I cant imagine you'd trouble yourself to post a question like this if it wasnt a life affecting decision so I havent addressed the "which do you prefer this or that?" sort of stuff.
When i'm un-decided, I make a decision and go with it, then chang my mind, then think - no go with your first choice, then think againg and change my mind again .... ooooh how confusing :loopy:
I'm terrible at making decisions - mainly on small things that aren't that important, like what shall we have for tea tonight or where shall we go for a drink. I always say i don't know because I genuinely don't mind and am happy to do whatever.
When it comes to things that are very important like life changing decisions or any big things, I usually do know what I want to do but will seek the advice of my most closest friends whose opinion I trust and then I will go from there.

I've no idea............I can't make my mind up.................
Sometimes I dissembowel a goat and read it's entrails.
However now we have a parquet floor I suspect I will have to stop this practice.

Stay awake all night whittling about it, if its something important like a house move or major purchase. Wish I had another way!

I also used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure!!!
A good method is to have a plus list for the decision and a minus list. Whichever has most things on it that's the way to go.
