I carry Netto bags,so what ? Should say my hubby carries them.!

I know i like netto but why should i care what neighbours think
I hate more when people shop at netto and hide it in other carriers whats up are they to proud to show where they shop or are they to tight to pay for the bags

used to but i live at woodhouse now and refuse to shop at co op so expesive give me netto or jack faltons any day

i agree co-op is so expensive its ok for bits but on the whole very dear ud get a better deal a m&s .....as to noisy neighbours ours are quite nice like us keep themselves to themselves but one small problem walls are very thin and most nights we have the not so nice pleasure of hearing a little more than there tv.

Thinking about Tinkerbell flitting around Netto with a shopping trolley cracks me up !! :hihi: :D

Apparently all the supermarkets in Denmark and Sweden look like Netto, you don't really get 'posh' over there

Everybody shops in them them no matter what their status

I wish people wouldn't be so snobby about it over here, after all, how much of Netto's food products are inedible? they seemed to have a lot of well known brands in last time I looked

ive got the nosiest neighbour of all time he thinks he knows everything but in reality knows **** all anytime i have someone to do stuff to the house hes hanging around passing comments weird thing is if any crime happens in the area hes never seen anything

oh and i sometimes shop at netto one day those yellow and black bags will be as sought after as harrods carriers:)

Well I hate it when people comment on my Harrods bags, or when I come struggling home weighed down by shopping from Waitrose or Marksies.

If I go shopping at Netto (which I do from time to time) I always remember to grab some plastic bags from the plastic bag full of plastic bags in my kitchen (knowing that they don't give them away 'free' at the checkout). I do not go through my collection of bags looking for the Netto ones and I would hate people to think that I am somehow trying to pretend that I don't really shop at Netto!

i have been waiting for this post for o-so long. i was so ashamed to admit it before. but to my suprise alot of people enjoy nettos as much as i.
i dont think i could live with out em.
they are my live save.
i dont use netto bags doe, cant afford um, i use a piece of old rag n ty it up. it makea an excellent carrier bag. u should try it! has anyone?

There's no shame in shopping at Netto. Some of us Netto regulars know where to get bargains! :thumbsup:

I think it is sooo petty that someone can be 'pigeonholed' in such a way for where they shop!!

I would never look down on anyone shopping at Netto....Aldi....etc

I have been known to pop in there when it has been convenient...I am NOT a loyal shopper at all!!

As a busy Mother of 3 I shop at whichever store is convenient as I am passing...there are certain things I buy in certain shops admittedly...but that is my preference!

I think some of the deals in these budget stores are fantastic and if anything I would find comfort in the fact you are probably getting more for your money than them...:D

I'm lucky as I've got a Netto and an Aldi within easy walking distance of my house and have and do use both. I don't however use there bags as I have what seems like thousands of bags under my sink [I'm sure they're breeding] and so just grab a few of them if I know I'm going to be doing a bit of shopping. What amuses me more is when i looked after my g/f's two kids and they wouldn't go in Netto or even stand outside whilst I went in. I soon found that the threat of making the lad carry a Netto bag caused him to be ever so wellbehaved. He used to react as badly as I did when i was very small and had to go to the ladies loo with my mum, the horror and fear that some-one from infant school would see me.

my neighbours are a pain the a** i mean every 2 minutes its can i borrow this and can i borrow that i mean my mum even has to turn the outside tap off so they don't use it and they even made us say that we no longer had a phone as everyday they wanted to use it more than like 5 times and to phone mobiles and we have kids spewing up all over and things being thrown over i mean they are really chatty but also can do our heads in!!!

There is nothiing wrong with shopping at Netto,
Netto has good basic items at a very reasonable price.
Do people want to throw their hard earned money away and pay more for an item at a better class of shop.
Netto has not the choice of goods the Sainsburies has but no-one expects them to.

I have an old buzzard for a neighbour who instructed her gardner to cut my front hedge.

1, my hedge is very neat, closely cropped & was symmetrical.

2 now its asymmetrical because her gardner hacked the end 8 inches off because she didn't like it growning on her bit of wall :loopy:

3 this is criminal damage
and, as he took it away, theft

4 I didn't half give her a roasting

presumably if it grows onto her bit of the wall she's within her rights to remove it... Although it doesn't sound like reasonable behaviour.

years ago i worked for a company called thomas foods at killamarsh.they made quiche,i delivered thesame goods to netto.marks and spencers and morrisons,by the lorry load,same goods,lol different wrappers,different prices,:D :rolleyes:

my neighbours garden is rampant with blackberrys,i am always cutting them back.

It was unreasonable not ask first, mate.

There is a hedge law and, had it been unkempt & over 2 meters, up the adjoining property boudary or obsuring her light/ vision then she would have cause "to ask me to get it cut" then, after refusal, she should contact the council (or somethink) for mediation.

This was my FRONT hedge which is only waist high.
I keep it that low so we can see over it to back the car off the drive safely.

Her front wall is just above knee high.
