It’s been a while since anyone posted anything interesting about the Blades so I thought I’d start a thread to see how things are down that way.

So Blades, how’s it going down there, interested in:

How did the players coming back do on Saturday?
Overall how do you rate your season?
Should Blackwell be allowed another season?
What type of players are you after in the pre-season?
Who do you want to see leaving the club?
What are your Season Ticket sales looking like?
How do you think McCabe is behaving?

Anyway, a nice opportunity there for you all to discuss all things Blades instead of continually going on about things down at S6.

What do you hope to gain with this thread? This is my last and only comment on it, it has absolutely no substance, we are fighting for our lives, or rather West Brom are, and you are trolling for bites.

The voice of reason. Well said, and giving due respect to the genuine Owl supporters in their possible grief, even i will not debate with the opening poster.

Things at Bramall Lane are better than they are for us at Hillsborough at the minute, even just based on league position. It sucks, but it'll come round in time, as it always does. They're on top now, we'll be on top at some point over the coming years, then we'll blow it again.

How did the players coming back do on Saturday?

Night Nurse had a very good game, and made two or three oustanding saves. He appears to have developed bananas for boots again. Naysmith was also very good, but visibly tiring when subbed.

Overall how do you rate your season?

Astonishingly boring and predictable. I think most realistic fans knew we'd be hovering about where we are now.

Should Blackwell be allowed another season?

I'd like to say 'no', but I don't see too many other options. I'd actually like Tony Mowbray, but that would cost money which won't be forthcoming, and time which some fans wouldn't afford him.

What type of players are you after in the pre-season?

What's a permanent contract again?

Who do you want to see leaving the club?

Daft question really. Hardly anyone's on a permanent contract anyway.

What are your Season Ticket sales looking like?

Not as healthy as last year, that's for certain, but I don't know the actual figures. Lots haven't renewed due to the pervasive anti-Blackwell feeling.

How do you think McCabe is behaving?

Damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't. The main problem is that we're still paying for the colossal mistake when he gambled on Barny Sornob.

Nothing sinister intended, just think it right that those Blades who don't spend their time endlessly baiting Wednesday fans about our demise, should be encouraged to comment on their own team.

If it is taken in the spirit intended then we might have an evening where those who feel the need to gloat about our predicament, might feel a bit embarassed about doing it.

We probably won't but it is worth a try!

keep digging a hole Titanic, 2 hours before D day Plus1. You choose to bait the Blades well no ones fallen for it, even your own have rumbled you. Now why not enjoy the match and give the keyboard a rest for 90 mins.

Yes , am sure there will be banter later, as there would be if the boot was on the other foot.

As for being embarassed, i think tonight that title is yours.

Enjoy.

No , the season has long been over for us. And no matter what issues you wish to bring up, what ever figures you want to make up. United are in a far better place than the Owls now and for the forseeable future.

Most Owls fans would accept the reasoning in my statement. You ? well have you noticed the match has kicked off?

Yeah I'm watching it, Palace nearly scored!

I always thought Sheffield had two teams though but by the look of it on here you'd think there was only one!

Did you renew your Season Ticket in the end?

There is only one who can get relegated.;).
You don't seem to be interested in them though.

Yes a good cross by Brunt!

Do you want Blackwell next season and would you give him some money to spend?

I'll support them whoever is in charge.
Will you go to any away games next season?
