Hi, This is mainly for jay_kd because i cannot pm him as u need to post 5 messages first :loopy:
Anyway i was jus wondering what sort of ablity i need to go to the seminar on the 20th, ive been doing thai boxing at hallam since september and i have been doing phoenix mixed martial arts at hexham (near newcastle) over the summer which is very similar to the jkd class you teach (or so it seems with the mix of eskrima jkd etc.)
also could you tell me if i need to book in advance or if i can just turn up.
many thanks
dave

Hi Dave which seminar are you asking about, i haven't got anything booked at the Source this year (but if you want to book me for a seminar i can sort that out :D )
i'm guessing you have been looking at old posts

Hi Biggestdav
I think I know who you mean its a kid called paul right?
Ive met him a few times i had a conversation with him about going to his classes once and he mentioned how his class was mainly begginers and he directed me towards the Sheffield Hallam Kickboxing class instead.
I went to the Hallam Kickboxing class which is still ongoing and i found a good mix of thaiboxers and kickboxers training side by side there (despite the kickboxing name) I soon made myself at home at that class which was in the same building but on different days. Give it a shot sometime biggestdav its FREE with a sportscard!

come to think of it yeah his name was paul, i was glad that it was a beginers thing because i was just starting but now ive done martial arts for about a year i need to move on. I was amazed how more indepth the pheonix martial arts i do at hexham was. I think i'll start the jkd at the source and possibly the kickboxing at hallam. Do u have any details of training times?
cheers
Dave
