I have recieved an email from Wannado about up-grading my broad bank from 1mb to 2mb for a one off admin charge of £20 but I have been unable to either by their website (error 60a) or by telephoning customer service.
Has anyone been able to to this as I have been told to keep trying as it will go through eventually......? Any Clues?
I upgraded about a month ago and no problems in doing so.
But i can not really see a big difference in speed but i put that down to my old computer.

I think they've got a bloody nerve asking for £20 when BT and others have upgraded their customers for free and new Wanadoo customers get it anyway.
I'm still pondering over whether to stick with Wanadoo and try and upgrade to 1 Mb when my 12 month contract's up in November, or switch to Plusnet.. The thread about their bad customer service from last week put me off slightly though, I hate bad service.. But then again, as I said in that thread I hold most tech "support" operatives beneath contempt anyway (half of them don't even speak legible English much less know what they're on about! ).
doesnt wannado have like a 1Gb per month download limit? :? I really dont understand these companys, they increase the speeds and make the download limits stupid... 1mb connection and 3Gb per month transfers, that amount is easily do-able in a day let alone a month!
only a week to go till i hopefully have my Bulldog 8mb connection :D
Plusnet have upgraded me to 2 mb from my 512k for free (still only paying £21 a month) and their "fair usage" policy was scrapped so there's no download limits :)
I know a few people have issues with Plusnet but they've never been anything but great with me.
