View Full Version : North Sheffield/Barnsleyish pub easy access to M1 with decent food
Any ideas? Need somewhere to meet a friend one evening that's really easy for directions (and pretty close to the M1) and does good food.
Thought of Tankersley Manor but the food's a bit chain-y.
Anyone know of somewhere smaller, not smoky, that does proper home-cooked food?
search bbc sheffield website for sillymoo, it gives feedback on tons of food places.
could be greedycow, now i think about it.
It is!

The Miners Arms on Warren Lane is a lovely little pub with excellent food. Easy access off Sheffield Road or Junction 35a

"Dodarth"? Can tell what your accent is m8e! :P However, I only recently learnt that "Dodworth" wasn't pronounced how it looks miself..... 'else I wouldn't have had a clue where you meant! Eeeh, the English language
Thanks everyone for all your suggestions. Can't someone just say 'Right, this one is BEST!" ? I'm spoilt for choice, somewhat.
Good position to be in, tho. Appreciate the input from fellow forumers!
