I am going to be staying over at Sheffield this weekend (9th and 10th) with my hubby, we wonna make the most of it which is always hard when you have no idea where anything is. We only know one person who has been to Sheffield before and he has mentioned West Street.

Anyone any other suggestions, we like, charty/dancy music, are up for a laugh, wonna have a bit of a dance. Actually arrived at this site after a search came up with the thread about the lapdancing club, so we'll give anything ago but especially if it comes recommended

Division street is really good, it runs alongside west street but is a bit cooler. Forum (the bar not the web site) is quite a good bar as is vodka rev, at the top of the road. This area is quite good for eating out too, whether you want pub grub or nice italians etc. Don't go to kingdom night club unless you really like chesse, try bed (on London rd) for really good funky dance, it is probally the best club in the city. Leadmill is ok too but a bit grubby. i hope you have a good time cos i think the sheffield is ace.
