BIG ROCK NIGHT !
Chesterfield Stop War are organising a rock gig on Saturday 1st May 2010 at the Function Room, Winding Wheel Theatre, Central Chesterfield. We will be presenting a superb rock trio from York 'The Blueflies'. They feature the amazing Miles Gilderdale on lead guitar. When Miles is not out gigging with the 'The Blueflies' he is touring the world with the smooth jazz super group 'Acoustic Alchemy' who have sold 6 million CD's in the USA. AA's bass player, Gary Grainger, tours with Carlos Santana when not busy with AA. So what does that tell you about the talents of Miles Gilderdale?. Miles plays 'Hendrix' better than 'Hendrix'. I should know. I have been lucky enough to see both ! Tickets are priced at a mere £6 and are limited to 100. Proceedings will commence at 7.30pm.
