Hello
Ive been trying out...as of yesterday... post production tilt shift. I may need to increase the angle etc. What do people think?

I think that the first seven people to look at it (including me) don't know WHAT to think!
Evidently (now I've looked) I (and perhaps the other six) don't know what tilt shift photograph is...or what it's supposed to look like :)

It's an effect applied to photos to make them look like miniature models. Essentially it's the use of blurs to trick your eyes into thinking you're looking at scale miniatures.
Hitch, this example is decent but not remarkable. I think the subject needs choosing more selectively - try and get a scene with more going on in it and with a foreground, middle and background.
I understand it to be a way of correcting converging parallels in photographs usually architectural, usually you need a frame camera with movements.
It's an alright first attempt, but I'd definitely work on getting a smoother and more accurate selective focus. I'd use longer gradients in and out of the bits in focus and make sure the bits in focus are all the same distance from the camera.
I'm not sure what set-up you have, but this maybe very relevant to your in interests http://cow.mooh.org/2009/03/building-tilt-shift-plungercam-lens-for.html && http://cow.mooh.org/2009/07/plungercam-2-cheaper-and-more.html
A collection of Tilt-Shift videos. Neat stuff.
