Hi there

Am wanting to go out for an indian meal with my wife on Saturday night. Can anyone recommend a good one. Not to keen on going to the places that are full of big groups, and prefer a more up-market type atmosphere. We like Cafe Guru, but want to try somewhere new. Have heard good things about the Mogul room - can anyone confirm this one or recommend any others.

Many thanks in advance
John

Mogul Room is really good, but gets very busy at the weekends - definitely need to book in advance.

I'd be interested to hear as well, we travel to Bradford for a quality curry in nice surroundings.

I love The Mogul Room, I think I've have the best curry I've ever tasted there. However I went with a colleague last year and he hated it. Horses for courses and all that!

For those willing to travel to Bradford from Sheffield for a curry.
There is a little place called Saffron in Sherburn-In-Elmet (closer than Bradford). Fantastic, authentic Bangladeshi food, very reasonably priced.
No alcohol served but you are more than welcome to bring your own.

SHIMUL Meadowhed . As a former Bradford lad i know a good "ruby"
Ive tried lots of indians in sheffield & this one is by far the best .
Superb food , Average price, Ice cold cobra beer . & very good wine list

I do like the Mogul Room- personally think it's better than Cafe Guru.
