sadly this happens sometimes m8 i was told its due to the fluctuation in the weather i lost 1 of my prized koi last summer £100+ show winner if i was you i would get some air into the pond as soon as you can or do a partial water change the worst fish for turning belly up are the orf family i lost 2 of those last year aswell usually after a thunder storm
I'm gonna ask a pretty silly question here, What depth is your pond and what are you doing to airate the water?

my pond is 5yrdsx4yrds and 5ft deep in the deepest part got u.v and 3 tier waterfall and 2 air stone running all the time have you cleaned the filter out recently mind you if you have tested the water and all seems o,k it just some times happens with koi they can be no sighns of injury or being poorly it just happens from time to time re:your new pond i would get a media booster pack for it it will give it a kick-start for the change of home for your fish and help it to get up to standard also even tho you have got waterfall in i would invest in a air pump they dont cost alot and use very little leccy hope this helps best regards steve...

2 foot deep is too shallow for any type of Carp as the Water tends to heat up quicker in warm weather which then takes the oxygen out of the water.....
If you are going to keep Koi I would get your pond dug deeper so that the lower level is cool.
My own pond is around 1.8m deep and is 3m X 2.7m in size.
I also run a double filter with UV and a bio- filter.
I currently have around 26 Koi ranging from 2FT down to 6"
