Does anyone know of any cheap or free car parking around the Sheaf Quay area, without paying £3 per visit in the NCP car park??

i doubt you will get anything cheaper than that, £3 is very cheap for town,

I posted about this a while agao - have a search. I thin the outcome was park in Ponds Forge/shoppers car park across road!

hi im a postman & i deliver on sheaf quays the nearest free parking is on bard st (at side of olde harrow pub) , if you cross straight accross the rd where the olde harrow pub is there is a tunnel that leads u str8 to sheaf quays under the parkway

There is some free parking on Blast Lane.

Don't think i'd park down in that general area at night as some of the streets are pretty quiet.....during the day its ok cos there's plenty of people milling about.

blast lane is now the entrance to the pay & display carparks situated on broad st , its only a short stretch of road & u would get a ticket , use bard st .... i do;)

just thought if you come in from attercliffe direction and up effingham rd you can park in or around sussex st just before the big railway arch near the televideo building theres loadsa places round there but they do tend to fil quite early

Blast Lane continues on the other side of the Parkway and runs parallel to the canal.....that's the bit i was referring to.
