In the near future I'm looking to purchase an ex cup Beetle and race it in the relevant circuits in the UK.
I am going to need a trusted mechanic to help me develop the car, not as a one off as I imagine this will be an ongoing project.
Does anybody know of an indivudal / mechanics who could help me with this sort of thing?

A mechanic I'll pay.
However, I would like to use the same mechanic over and over again and I would like someone who will proactively help me develop the car, rather than simply fix any problems.

Have a chat to Matt at Autohausdolby, hes on the century industrial estate at Darnall. He knows his stuff, IIRC he used to run a drag bug
